Good things come in small packages

This shot only lasted a few seconds, but it's one of the most revealing parts of the movie. You could title it: "Charlotte cracks the whip."

This one will keep us from becoming too melancholy: "Down to Seeds and Stems Again Blues" I'm sittin alone, Saturday night, watching the Late Late Show. A bottle of wine, some cigarettes, I got no place to go. Well, I saw your other man today; he was wearing my brand new shoes, And I'm down to seeds...

Didn't Lewis Sullivan design the original Marshall Fields store? Seems like I remember that from art school. If it's the one I have in my head, the exterior is amazing...sort of hard to categorize.

I just Googled Sullivan, and it's Louis Sullivan, and I didn't see any reference to Marshall Fields.

I forgot "Roxanne." I've seen it at least 10 times. It's one of the few Steve Martin movies I really enjoy.

Movies I've seen many times

Somewhere I read a post stating that people who see a movie more than once need to get a life. I guess that makes me pretty pitiful. I love a good movie. I don't consider myself a movie expert by any means, and, to tell the truth, I really haven't seen movies that I probably should have seen. I rece...

I don't have a favorite season. What I do enjoy is the changing of seasons. Down here in Georgia it's so pleasant to feel the air get a little crisper and cooler after months of sultry heat. Our winters are mild, so it doesn't bother me a bit if we get the occasional snowstorm every five or ten year...

Oh, yeah, it's a great scene. It's short and to the point, and the music is fantastic.

Hey, Silvermoon, I'm sorry to read about your parents' situation. The most important thing you can do is to make sure your mother knows you love her. Don't make the mistake of trying to step into the hole in her life made by your father's not being emotionally available for her. The role you need to...

It's an interesting theory, but remember, the same sign ( on the side of a truck) shows up in the middle of the movie, when Bob and Charlotte are out in the street after they've left the strip bar. From that, I would assume that the photo of Bob is from a shoot prior to this particular trip to Tokyo.

Interesting post from imdb.com

I saw this post today at imdb. It's an interesting take on something we talk about over and over. If you want to read the whole thread, its title is something like, "Don't you want to SLAP..." "I sense that a major attraction of this movie is that we see intimacy and trust and the sheer joy of being...

The finger is as good as it is going to get. It is still numb at the tip and the nail looks kind of odd, but it doesn't hurt and I don't wear the splint anymore. I live right in the middle of Atlanta. I'm not as big a pro football fan as I was when I was a kid (I prefer watching college ball), but I...
