I am 33 years old, but I agree that teenagers could really understand the film, not all, maybe a small minority even. But this discussion made me think back to when I was 16 or 17, I really loved and totally understood and felt such strong feelings for some "art house" films such as the French film...

I recently bought this book http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/4770029373/qid=1112666093/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-0772590-7590256?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 it's very nice, but it does not feature the temples that Charlotte visited (Heian Shrine and Nanzenji Temple). recommended if you like...

well I finally got to see this today. (Australia can be so far behind), I actually loved it :) I don't understand all the lukewarm reviews it got, especially from critics that like Wes Anderson, it's exactly the same as everything else he does.
