I bought that book after seeing Lost on Location, honestly it's bloody hillarious. I need to go to Japan solely to try it out on people.

I always thing of it as a little insight into Sofia's showbiz world, full of idiots and morons that people like John fawn over to be with them when they really aren't interesting at all.

I've got Fear and Trembling on DVD, much recommended. A fascinating insight into Japanese working culture.
If you love LiT you will love most of the films made my Wong Kar Wai, in particular i'm thinking Chungking Express and In The Mood for Love. Probably the sort of films you are looking for.

Ghost World is phenomenal, my second favourite film ever (after LiT). It's just so refreshing that a teenage film can show how the world really is, its total crap, your at a stage in your life where the only thing you have ever known, your childhood, is suddenly ripped from out of you and you end up...

I've only just got round to seeing The Virgin Suicides, and it amazes me how underated the film is, its fantastic, the music, the imagery everything.

Sofia Coppola is a genius.

I've got totally sick of all the morons constantly slagging off this masterpiece on IMDb and I'd like to hear the thoughts of people who can appreciate this film and people who can connect to it as well as I can.
