"Quentin Tarantino has selected his top 20 movies of the 21st century, with Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down coming in first place and Lee Unkrich’s Toy Story 3 ranking second. The Oscar-winning director unveiled his picks in two sets of ten on “The Bret Easton Ellis” podcast, with quotes of his descriptions of each film transcribed on World of Reel."

I know LiT is my favourite movie of all time but Quentin thinking nearly the same is quite... unreal?! lol

Apparently he dated Sofia for a couple of years; after watching the film a few times, he tried to bump into her as often as he could to try and court her.
Great snippet of an interview with him on it here:

He’s got a fantastic take on the scene with the prostitute. I’d always greatly disliked that scene, after watching it for the first time, but appreciate it in a new light now.

Thanks for sharing! When people ask (or ask me) "what's your favorite movie" or "all time favorite movie", I'm hesitant to list LiT among them to avoid the puzzled (almost judgemental) "but why????" looks (I'm sorry my favorite movies are not Titanic, Avatar, etc.). The few people who I know that like it, like it with cult adoration like us fans, everyone else thinks it's the most boring movie on the planet. Other of my all time fav's including "Swingers (1996)" and "The Terminal (2004)".

This is a great clip! He mentions Choose Me as another film with a similar vibe that he loves and I've never heard him mention that before.
I love Choose Me too and have seen it so many times. I recently got the new Criterion Collection Bluray release of it.
