XX/XY (2002)

Saw this last night. Sort of a Before Sunrise/Before Sunset film because of the interactions between three college age people and then the reunion between them ten years later. And while the women seem to eventually have gotten a clue about relationships, the guy Coles was still lacking. And imo, Coles messed up on a second chance to be with the one he loved.
Anyone else see this movie? I wonder if there was a sequel to this film, if Coles would finally become a good significant other to anyone.
My favorite quote of the movie:
"It’s okay, I got rid of him. It was only a matter of time. The first time we hung out... and we went to a movie. Just hearing when he laughed, I could tell it wouldn’t last."
- Sam to Coles ten years later in regards to dating Thomas, a guy many years her junior.
I suppose I judge a new friend by what they think of NPR and BBC productions etc...
