Yes there are two paths we can go by, but in the long run, there’s still time to change the road you’re on. (Led Zeppelin)

It is always surprising how small a part of life is taken up by meaningful moments. Most often they're over before they start even though they cast a light on the future and make the person who originated them unforgettable. (Anna and the King)

The flapping of a single butterfly's wing today produces a tiny change in the state of the atmosphere. Over a period of time, what the atmosphere actually does diverges from what it would have done. So, in a month's time, a tornado that would have devastated the Indonesian coast doesn't happen. Or maybe one that wasn't going to happen, does.
(Chaos Theory – or The Butterfly Effect)

Anything can happen – and it usually does. (Unknown)

Sorry to be cryptic - but please allow me to express this vague celebration of a feeling that's come over me.

I've deleted a lot of the metaphors and other details. But what remains is important:

I do want to say that I’d like this whole community to wish me well. And I am VERY proud, happy, and full of love for my wife for agreeing to take on this added journey – which will begin slowly but will resolve the last parts of discovery as to who we are and how we can come to live together with mutual love, respect, and dignity.

I can’t believe I’ve come this far. I have no doubt that in the end – love will win out.

I don't think it was clumsily written, i understood it. Sometimes we all forget how things started, or what lead to them, but we made it through and that's what matters. You both know exactly where you want to be, and that's what matters. That's more than what most people have ya know?
For some things, where you end up doesn't matter it's all about the ride, the discovery but with most life issues, you have to know exactly where you want to be, and what has to be done to take you to that place.
I truly do hope everything works out well. It sounds like you've had a rough time with it all. I just hope it's painless, and you both get to where you want to be.
Good Luck with everything!

So I found myself wondering - did this happen to me in order to help heal MY marriage - or to help my daughter have a happy and fulfilling one?
Perhaps both? By correcting those behaviours, and learning from them it gets you to a place where you want to be, and keeps her from continuing on a path that would lead her to a not so good place.
Keep smiling!

Healing your marriage is an important part of showing your children what marriage is all about, IMHO.
