Over the past few months I've been experimenting with Ableton Live just for fun, and in the process have made quite a few covers. My most recent is a cover of 50 Floors Up from the Lost in Translation soundtrack... well, not the US version but still! It's pretty straight forward cover with very little re-imagining, but I loved the feel of the original so much there wasn't that much I wanted to change...
Anyways, if you are interested in previewing the track you can stream it on ye olde myspace (http://www.myspace.com/funeralfireworks), or if you prefer, you can jump straight to a high quality download right here: http://download.yousendit.com/BAAB4F980D6D485F. Since this is just a hobby of mine, feedback is greatly appreciated!

I like. Very atmospheric, and I'm all about making things more atmospheric.
Thanks so much for sharing.
To elaborate: the album version to me seems a little out of place. The rest of the songs are very soft and flowing, just the like the movie. 50 Floors Up, while it has a good melody for sure, is too contrasted from the rest. Possibly why it wasn't included on the US soundtrack?
So I think something more along the lines of what you've done fits better with the album.
