This is a very interesting 8 minute news feature about the rise of tourism in Japan.
It sounds like they are expecting it to increase a lot by 2030 so maybe best to try and go if you can sooner rather than later!

In the circle of people I know (which admittedly is neither a lot nor diverse), everyone is either: 1.) talking about going to Japan, 2.) already booked a trip to Japan, 3.) just returned from Japan, 4.) or knows someone that is either one of the three just menationed. Most cite the amazing culture and food but also, the personal safety, cleanliness and orderliness.

It's been 9 years since our very first visit and 8 years since my last visit and hopefully we can finally make it back next year in 2026!

Wow, unbelievable but cool!
Funnily enough I know a guy who just went twice within a month or so and says he plans to go back! He's hooked!

Yeah, I don't know anyone who has gone and came back and said it was bad. Everyone that's gone fell in love with it!
