Directly from Japan

#1 Post by Luigi » Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:52 pm

A friend of my wife went to Japan last week, so I asked her to buy something really special for me. Yep, you know what I mean, don't you? Here it is, in my living room, exactly one week later:

It's the small one - and it's really nice and cute. Produced by Mon Seuil Co., Japan. I don't know how much was it, I got it as a present in the end.

Here's Bob buying his owl in Tokyo:

More owls!

#3 Post by Luigi » Fri Oct 15, 2010 9:12 am

Apparently, due to a misunderstanding, one more friend of a friend ended up buying another owl in Japan for us. This time a big one. Surprisingly, there was a really small owl inside the big one. So now we have the following family of LiT owls:

The big one was quite expensive though, around 50 pounds.

Awesome!

I looked but I was never able to find one when I was there :( Do you know the names of the shops they got them from and where they are located?

Monseuil Tokyo

Hey!

Each owl had a tag with the following address and telephone:

Monseuil Japan
1F-B 5-7-14, Kitashinagawa
Shinagawaku, Tokyo, Japan
Tel. 03 5423-7311

Hopefully it'll help you find the owls in Japan. I've got a receipt as well, but it's entirely in Japanese, so I'm not able to type what's written there here.

Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Ginza had them, it's been two years since I've been though.

This is not really from Japan, but it is another item for my LIT collection. It's a t-shirt. My mother bought it somewhere in Brazil and sent it to me here in Sweden. Cool.
